Renton Fire Department – Battalion Chief Mike Proulx of Renton Fire was present to report.  He noted some safety tips for everyone to be aware of:

Promo is coming up – do not drink and drive.  3 out of 10 kids say they have gotten into a car with someone that has been drinking.    3 out of 4 kids say their parents are the main influence that they drink.  5,000 teens lose their lives every year due to alcohol relating driving accidents.

Please do not text and drive – Parents if you do it your kids will as well.

Wear your seatbelts always!

Homeowner Appeals – There was one homeowner in attendance to discuss their account balance

Community Events – The Annual Easter Egg Hunt was Saturday April 19th.   There were approximately 15 kids that participated.

Eileen also noted that the Annual Garage Sale signs will be going up soon.

Pride In Ownership – Nothing yet.  Brandy will send Eileen some suggested addresses.

Minutes of the Previous Meeting – A motion was made seconded and approved to accept the April meeting minutes as amended.

In the Homeowner Appeals section there should be no “ ‘ “ in the word Homeowners.

Treasurer’s Report – Ray noted that the HOA tax return was completed, filed and a copy given to Barb.

Bank of America has reclassified our bank account so there are no service charges, they are refunding 3 months of charges as well.  Our CD will qualify us for the new status so that the safety deposit box can remain there.

Architectural Control Report – A porch was approved.

Common Properties Report – Nothing new on the Molasses Creek/Park.

Eileen gave the park signs to Brandy.

Ray asked Brandy to please speak with Brickman to see if they can reset the timers on the water sprinklers.
